Connie Drumm, Principal of Temple Christian School, has a passion for Christian education. She remembers that it was an elementary teacher who first inspired her that “one person can change the world.” Later, she began to wonder just how that could possibly be done. When, in her early twenties, she decided that the world could only change if people first changed their hearts through accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior, she gave her own life, professional and private, over to Him.

As mother of two and now grandmother of five, Connie never imagined herself being called of God to reach young hearts for Christ by teaching, equipping, and encouraging hundreds of children through Christian education for more than 30 years. She graduated from Illinois State University , and has done some special graduate work. With teaching experience at the elementary, middle and secondary levels, she has a major in English and a minor in psychology. Connie has joyfully ministered at Temple Christian School since 1985. She is a life-long resident of Coal Valley , Illinois , where she and her husband, Don still reside.
