Alisa born and raised in California and at the age of 18 moved to Perth , Western Australia where her family pioneered a Foursquare Church called Hope Chapel Coastline. She headed up the Youth ministry there while completing her Bachelor of Education at Edith Cowan University . A month before her graduation the Lord called her to leave all the comforts of home and travel to the other side of the country… Sydney , Australia , and attend the Hillsong Bible College . During her time in College she had the wonderful opportunity of being part of the Bible College Staff as the Youth Leaders and Pastors Training School Administrator. After graduating Bible College , she moved on to the Church's Youth Ministry where she worked as a Regional Youth Director for 4 years. The 7 years that she was part of the Hillsong family was a precious time in her life. During this time she met Gareth, fell in love, married and kidnapped him and brought him to America . They served at Virginia Beach Christian Life Center as New People Pastors for 3 years with Ps. Steve Kelly who was the former Associate Pastor at the Hillsong Church . For the past six years she has had the awesome privilege of pastoring the youth at New Hope. What an amazing gift our leaders and teens are!

Gareth was born in Sydney Australia. After being relocated often as youngster due to his mother's illness he moved in with his grandparents in Brisbane where he was filled with the Holy Spirit at age 4. From a young age he felt called to the ministry. After returning to Sydney and completing his schooling he joined Hillsong church and fell in love with Jesus in a whole new radical way. It was there that he started youth ministry and after doing that for 5 years felt the Lord call him to a very different mission field. He started performing as an actor at the Sydney Opera House and what began as a one time performance turned into 6 years full time work. The Lord opened a door to spread the gospel in a setting that few had access to. During this time he met Alisa, they married and later moved to Virginia Beach serving at the Wave Church which is connected to Hillsong , Australia .

They served there together overseeing the New People Ministry for three years, then moved to Moline , Illinois where they currently serve as Youth Pastors over the “Wildlife Ministries.”

Gareth and Alisa have two children, Savannah 4 years and Evan age 2. Gareth's other passions include: fast motor bikes, PlayStation, Starbucks and the Red Robin Restaurant. .
