Mark and his wife Heather arrived in Moline in September, 2000. The son of a Foursquare Missionary and Pastor, Mark spent from the ages of 10 to 19 in Papua New Guinea where he saw firsthand the impact of utilizing media and technology to "spread the gospel."
Upon returning to Australia in 1984, Mark worked as a Roadie for a Sound Company, a Policeman, an Insurance Salesman and as an Advertising Consultant. In addition to his paid vocation, Mark has been involved in Church Media since he was 13 and enjoys taking on new challenges.
"Music (and its production) is perhaps one of the greatest tools the church has, as it transcends all language and cultural barriers, allowing the soul to communicate directly with its creator."
This is why we put the effort into creating an environment where people can experience God without "church" getting in the way. Media, in all of its entirety - Sound, Lighting, Visual Images, etc. are all tools to present the gospel in a culturally relevant way to the people that God is wanting to draw unto himself. We don't "produce" Sunday morning so that the Christians can feel good, we do it so that the pre-Christian can find God.
Mark enjoys his recreational time restoring and riding motorcycles and is the coordinator for the QC Riders, where the love of motorcycles and the open road is the relational bond. Mark and his wife Heather reside in Moline, Illinois withe their 2 children, Stephen and Christine (and the beagle, Buster, and the cat, Tiki).
